If you're checking out this page, it's probably safe to assume that you are already listening to and enjoying Cas Lucas's music and are wondering how you can help spread the word. This basically means that you rock!

It's up to true music fans like you which artists "make it" and which ones never get exposed to the worldwide audience they deserve. Programs like this are a big part of how a lot of the bands we all listen to got where they are today.

*There is no minimum time requirement, and we appreciate any and all efforts in our behalf, so you really have nothing to lose. There are no dues or required financial contributions involved either!

Reasons to join the Cas Lucas Reps Program:

** Free Stuff!! Who doesn't like free stuff? We'll send you a Cas Lucas Rep Starter Kit, including a free compilation CD, stickers, flyers, and other promotional goodies for you to use as you see fit. (This is the only way to get a ahold of a copy of the brand new songs from Cas's new, yet-unreleased CD that you may have heard streaming on MySpace.

As a registered Cas Lucas Rep, you can also get Cas Lucas Merch and CD's at reduced prices! Just ask your Rep coodinator how.

**Resume Builder/Music Industry Experience: This is a great way to learn the music biz and make contacts inside the industry. It is up to you which sector of the industry you wish to focus on and what amount of time you wish to invest. Any buzz is good buzz.

**Rock Star Perks: Cas reps will be routinely selected for guest list admission and backstage passes to select Cas Lucas shows.

Cas's Official MySpace Page is worth checking out too, since it's the biggest online gathering place for Cas fans in existance. Get in touch with us and network with other fans & Reps at either of these sites, and don't forget to add us and drop a comment.

Rep Ideas...

There are different areas of promotion that you can get involved with, and, again, how involved you get is completely up to you. Some things our reps are doing are...

1. Online Promotion: Talking up Cas's music on MySpace and other artists' message boards. We can also send you banners to get a Cas Lucas presence going on our MySpace profile or website. Just email reps@caslucas.com to request a banner, even if you're not a registered Cas Lucas Rep.

2. Grass Roots, Word of Mouth Promotion: This is the oldest and most affective way people hear about new bands/arists. Tell a friend, burn them the cd, have them tell a friend, etc. You can email reps@caslucas.com to request a flyers, stickers, or other promo materials, even if you're not a registered Cas Lucas Rep.

3. Cas Lucas Tour Promotion: When Cas plays in your area, you'll try to get folks to come to the show through flyering, grass roots promo, etc. Reps will often be asked to work at the merch table at Cas's shows. You'll get free tickets and most likely get to go backstage and meet the band. Just email reps@caslucas.com to request a flyer (email or US mail), even if you're not a registered Cas Lucas Rep.

4. Radio Promotion: Try to get Cas played on your local radio station. (or any cool station you know of, FM, Satellite, or Internet) We'll send you all the materials you need for this, and from there it's just a matter of making a few phone calls or emails.

5. Promo at Concerts by Other Artists: Maybe you're going to a DMB, Jack Johnson, OAR, or Ben Harper show this year. (or any other artist/band whose fans might like Cas's music) We'll send you some flyers and stickers to hang up and/or hand out outside the show. Lots of our Reps have don this in the past, and it's a great way to make a bunch of new Cas fans in your area with just one hour's work... Especially if you're already going to the show!

And the list goes on....

It's all good progress, and we really encourage outside the box thinking from our Reps. Just get out there and do something, and we're psyched.

**Sign up for Cas Lucas email updates by sending an email to mailinglist@caslucas.com. Include your location, if you want to know when Cas is touring your area.

**Stop by the Cas Lucas Store and pick up one of Cas's CDs. Those few dollars go a long way to help our efforts. And hey, they're awsome CDs. Whether it's Cas or your other favorite new artists, get out there and support independent music in your area!



** Cas's music can also be found at the Itunes Music Store and most other popular digital stores like Rhapsody, MusicNet, Yahoo Music, and Napster.

**Grab some free music from our Music Page, put CD or playlist together, enjoy it, and give it out to a few of your friends. Additional MP3's are available on Cas's Official MySpage Page, where we regularly post new unreleased tracks.
